♪ Foo Fighters – This Will Be Our Year (cover)
It has been so long since the last time I blogged. My camera is currently out of order and hopefully getting repaired soon! It’s part of the reason why it’s been so quiet around here. This year has been flying by, in a couple of weeks it will be Thanksgiving. crazy! I think it’s time to blog again, even if it means posting photos from my phone.. EC is back in business!

I am a perfectionist. I didn’t realize that until I started blogging. I began putting pressure on myself in figuring out what I wanted to blog about, what direction I wanted to take with this new project. I would stop myself from blogging until I figured what I wanted to do and often get writer’s block until today. I saw this on my way to a coffee shop and it stop me in my tracks. It was just the message that I needed. I always put things until the next day hoping I’ll have the answers then but there truly is no better time than today. I’ve decided to let this blog grow, slow and steady. No pressures to be like others. Let this place be my cloud 9 where I get to be me, myself and I. ♥

Spent Christmas at Big Bear City and when we arrived there I found this Senior Wilderness Explorer sticker from the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at California Adventure and I felt like it was a sign. UP is one of my favorite movies and I always feel so inspired every time I watch it. I have a feeling lots of fun adventures are in store in the upcoming new year, so excited!
My job at the music school is a blessing for which I am very thankful for. I was hired to be Creative. I get to decorate for special occasions and help plan fun activities for the students. I get the chance to work with friends and we have a blast! I learn something new about music every time I’m there. And best of all, I hear music all day! It’s something magical when you’re walking through the halls and you hear songs that you love. Take today for example, a song from UP was being played on the piano and I couldn’t help but smile. It was amazing hearing a song from one of my favorite movies. This job makes me happy and I can’t wait to see what new adventures lie ahead at the music house. I’m one lucky girl.
Took my first trip to Las Vegas in April and I’m finally getting around to making a mini book. It was a fun weekend trip and I tried to see as much as I could but it was too HOT to be out for too long. Thank you AC for keeping us cool. My favorite part of the drive there was seeing stars in the night sky. You don’t get to see many when you live in the city but when youre in the middle of nowhere, they shine bright. I wanted to take a photo of them but too hard in a moving car lol I can’t wait to take another road trip!
