I was recently hired to design a banner for a pretty princess’ third birthday party. This being my first custom job had me over the moon with excitement! I had a blast working on this project and I’m happy to report that it was a hit at the party. I am very thankful for this opportunity and can’t wait for the next project!

rain, rain, go away..

just like the weatherman predicted, we’re having a very rainy weekend here in Los Angeles. I’m not the biggest fan of rain but instead of being bummed i decided to find the silver linning of this cloudy situation. Here is my list:

.1.. finally use my Paul Frank rain boots. (seen above)
.2.. snuggle/cuddle time!
.3.. a good book + warm tea
.4.. scrapbook all day
.5.. blogging//planning future posts
.6.. crafts and more crafts
.7.. work on sewing projects
.8.. pinterest. tumblr. twitter. instagram. (and repeat) *giggles
.9.. movie marathon
.10.. falling asleep to the sound of rain

instant photography, you have my heart.

There is something special about taking a photo and waiting (impatiently) to see the image appear. I think that has to be my favorite part. The anticipation for the image to reveal itself. No matter how blurry or over exposed a photo may come out, the thrill of waiting to see the final image is the best! I currently own 5 instant cameras and love them all equally. Along with my love for portable instant cameras is the not so portable, photo booths. ahhh! one of my dreams is to one day own a photo booth of my very own. crazy? possibly BUT it’s something i’ve always dreamed of having in the comfort of my home ♥

I’ve recently discovered a love for sequins. They can make anything sparkle and shine. I found a packet of sequins in my box of supplies and had a go at sewing this cloud. what do you think? i think its pretty snazzy. I can’t wait to pin it to one of my cardigans.
